GOD IS YOUR SOURCE

Updated: Nov 12, 2023

LIVING WITH PURPOSE

Greetings and Blessings,

I wanted to send a word of encouragement to you today to remind you that God is the SOURCE of your SUPPLY. Often times we get it twisted and begin to think just because we have a six figure job, a successful business, steady employment & its benefits, or have become financially secure, that we are all set. God is our source for health, finances and wellness of body and mind. The source is the origin of a person, place or thing. In other words GOD is the originator of all mankind. We were made in his likeness, therefore he is our source. Now think of the things I named regarding money, assets, businesses, employment & benefits; these are RESOURCES that help us function proficiently and effectively. Don’t ever rely totally on worldly gain and confuse it with the riches and prosperity God intends for you to have.

It is imperative that we fully DEPEND on GOD as our source and not become Independent in our thinking. Just like children depend on their parents; we are encouraged to depend on the Most High. When you become independent you are becoming your own source, which can cause more stress. In essence you are saying to God “I got this” The stock market may crash and banks may go out of business so don’t put all of your confidence in them. Medicine is fine however it is not always a cure. God is the only one that can heal. Remember what Jesus said [John 5:30] “I can do nothing on my own, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.” Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, yet he is dependent and relying on the Heavenly Father to help him navigate his purpose throughout his life on earth.

Whatever Success you have been able to accomplish is because of our Heavenly Father’s LOVE for you. God wants his Kingdom to be well known on earth and it is his pleasure to give it [The Kingdom] to his children. We are God’s representatives in the world and that automatically makes us the head and not the tail.

What does that mean? In essence our Creator wants us to prosper & be in good health and he wants to supply all of our needs according to his riches in Glory. When we fully depend on GOD we are able to rest better and allow him to work for us just as he desires to do. Reference these scriptures Luke 12:32, 3rd John 1:2, Philippians 4:19.

Tips: Refer to these 3 tips to help you depend on God as your Source

1. When God speaks a word to you it is a decree that he will fulfill. Remember God is not like man to promise something and then change his mind. Your only job is to believe and God will bring it to pass.

2. Acknowledge & Depend on God not your Resources which can fade or fail at anytime. Trust God with all of your heart. Acknowledge God and he will direct you in all business endeavors. Refer to Proverbs 3:5-6

3. Believe that God wants the very best for you in health, wellness and finances, anticipate more blessings to come and God will respond to your Faith.
